The Vienna Malayalee Association (VMA) offers a rich and diverse mix of Indian culture and Austrian charm having over 200 families and approximately 1000 members, aimed at fostering cross-cultural exchange and nurturing the creative expressions of our youth. As the first and largest Malayalee association in Vienna, Austria, we have been instrumental in bringing India closer to Europe through a diverse array of cultural activities, workshops, and mentorship programs. This year marks a significant milestone for the VMA, as we celebrate the Golden Jubilee at the prestigious Austria Centre Vienna, Austria’s largest convention center. This grand event, commemorating five decades of cultural heritage and community spirit, will be attended by over 1500 esteemed guests from both the Indian and Austrian communities, including distinguished figures from India and across Europe.
